Ex-Aston Villa youngster Hogg signed for Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed fee on July 29 2013 from Watford, having joined the North London club in August 2011 on a free transfer. Since then, the 27-year-old has played 88 games for Town, scoring once and providing three assists.

Hogg has had a patchy season during the 2015/16 campaign, with non-selection, red card suspension and a knee injury cutting short his participation, Hogg only returning to the bench for the 4-0 loss to Bristol City.

This season Hogg put up the following per 90 numbers:

  • Tackles – 3.8
  • Defensive interceptions – 2.6
  • Defensive clearances – 1.6
  • Blocks 2.2 (including 1.2 blocked passes)

Total defensive actions per 90 – 10.2

  • 67.6 pass attempts
  • 58.3 accurate passes (54.7 ‘short’ passes, 3.6 ‘long’ balls)
  • 0.8 key passes (shooting attempts for teammates)

Last up is a left midfielder with 83 pace and 3-star skill moves from 72 rated dribbling.
