4.The R & R Factor
No it’s not rest and relaxation. it’s Rhodes and Ramirez. The pair were brought in by Karanka and whereas some managers have chosen to criticise the spending of Middlesbrough, it can’t be denied that bringing Ramirez on loan was a master stroke. Southampton’s loss has been Boro’s gain, real class, guile and an eye for goal has meant that Ramirez has been one of the first on the team sheet in his favoured number 10 role.

This tweet from the Boro Stats page perfectly illustrates the impact the pair have made since arriving on Teesside in January.
Rhodes is also in great form scoring 5 goals in his last 8 games. He will be looking to continue that form into Saturday and after a slow start to his Boro career he is now starting to find the net with more regularity. He is a natural goal scorer, his record suggested it was just a matter of time and so it proved.
Both will almost certainly start on Saturday and the fans will be looking for those two to link up well and provide the threat.
