As we head towards the end of the season we begin to allow our minds to speculate about the players our clubs will frantically chase as the summer transfer merry-go-round approaches.
Normally clubs remain tight lipped regarding the players that they want to bring in but Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish openly showed his appreciation with a tweet praising one Derby star that caught his eye on bank holiday Monday.
Despite reaching the F.A cup final where they will face Manchester United, Crystal Palace have struggled with only one league win this year against Norwich City and fans will be hoping that the club are on the lookout to add players to their squad to add fresh impetus ready for next season.
Parish’s tweet came whilst Brighton and Hove Albion entertained Derby which saw the comeback of one of Derby’s brightest talents Will Hughes. The midfielder has missed the whole season as he suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury on the opening day of the season in a 0-0 encounter with Bolton Wanderers.
The 20 year old has clearly been missed by the Rams as he enjoyed an excellent game for the promotion hopefuls, showcasing the sort of talent that will surely attract some attention in the summer and fans have been left to wonder what might have been had he been fit.
Parish was clearly impressed and got Palace fans excited (and Derby fans feeling nervous) by tweeting..
Brilliant play from @wjhughes19 👏👏👏

However he wasn’t the only one full of praise for the England under 21 international with lots of fans full of praise for the youngster’s performance.
Derby disappointed with late equaliser but still go in to play-offs in good form. 6 unbeaten and @wjhughes19 looking on 🔥 #dcfc #dcfcfans
