Huddersfield Town assess trio of trialists

Huddersfield Town are currently running the rule over three trialists as head coach David Wagner continues to assess potential summer transfer targets according to the Huddersfield Examiner.

Three youngsters have started trial spells at The John Smith’s Stadium, goalkeeper George Dorrington (Manchester United), midfielder Victor Gulbrandsen (Ipswich Town) and winger Eusebio Bancessi (Wolverhampton Wanderers).

George Dorrington is an 18 year old goalkeeper who has previously featured for The Red Devils in the UEFA Youth League and for their Under 18s side. Born in Bristol, the shot stopper has now graduated up to the Under 21s side at Old Trafford.

Victor Gulbrandsen is a 19 year old Danish central midfielder who is currently under contract at Ipswich Town until next summer. The player joined The Tractor Boys from Danish club Lyngby BK in August 2014 and is a member of the club’s Under 21s side. The player has represented his country at various age groups.

Eusebio Bancessi is a Bissau-Guinean winger who started his career in the youth academy at European giants Benfica. The player moved to England to join Wolverhampton Wanderers and has scored a number of goals for their Under 21s side. Bancessi has played senior football during loan spells at Cheltenham Town and AFC Telford United.

All three players featured for Huddersfield Town’s development team in their 2-1 victory over Cardiff City at The John Smith’s Stadium.
