According to recent reports David Moyes’ talent spotter Robbie Cooke, who was with Moyes at Everton and Manchester United, is rumoured to be in the frame for the Head of Recruitment role at Charlton.

The Everton and Manchester United talent spotter, Robbie Cooke was with David Moyes at Everton and Manchester United. In which he was a scout at Everton, and Chief Scout at Manchester United for Moyes.

According to the South London Press, Cooke is a serious contender for the Head of Recruitment role at the South East London side facing imminent relegation.

According to rumours and speculation, the South East London side are placing priority in fulfilling this role, with the club also looking at: Keith Burt (Bristol City’s Head of Recruitment) and David Burke (ex-Head of Football Operations at Brighton).

The recent rumours that Roland Duchâtelet is completing a restructure at the Addicks over the Summer, including the rumoured appointment of Lennie Lawrence as Director of Football to aid the club in managerial and recruiting affairs further endorses this potential appointment for the Head of Recruitment role.
