FANS OF THE WEEKEND: Plymouth Argyle
Although it wasn’t exactly the longest journey of the weekend, it was great to see 2,200 Plymouth Argyle fans make the trip to Fratton Park to watch their side remain above their south coast opponents.
They did go behind after Michael Smith gave Portsmouth a first half lead but Fleetwood Town loanee Jamille Matt levelled things after the break before substitute Gregg Wylde sealed the victory four minutes from time.
It was a great turnout and a great result as both look settled in the League Two playoff places. They also look likely to be facing each other in the post-season and after this entertaining affair, it could be a match-up to savour.
GOAL OF THE WEEKEND: Robert Snodgrass – Hull City
Dimitri Payet, eat your heart out. The classy Frenchman has scored some lovely free-kicks this season but he might just have some real competition after this beauty from Robert Snodgrass.
The Scot lined up from around 25 yards out with Hull drawing at home to Wolverhamton Wanderers with the hosts needing another win. Snodgrass then set the ball just outside the post with the right amount of dip as it swerved into the very top corner, grazing the bar and nestling in the back of the net.

An absolutely wonderful goal and exactly what Hull City needed after their recent indifferent form. It could have come at the right time too, if they can now use that momentum heading into the playoffs, they could be very hard to beat.
