3.George Hirst (Sheffield Wednesday):
Another famous name, another famous father. George (son of Wednesday legend David) has now signed a senior contract with the owls. The 17 year old has signed a two and a half year deal keeping him at the club until 2018. Hirst was called up to the England under 17 squad and promptly slotted two goals in against Germany, quite an introduction. Many expect Hirst to go on to great things just like his father who I’m sure is proud that he is playing for Sheffield Wednesday, but for how long? Chelsea, West Ham and Newcastle have all reportedly run the rule over the starlet. Will we see fireworks from the fresh faced striker next season? excited Owls fans will hope so.
