5 things Leeds should produce for Reading

Play with intensity.

Steve Evans got the system right and, in large parts of the game, another quakity team were played off the park. If you look at the statistics from whole of the game, you’d think that both Leeds goals came against the run of play, simply not true.

Leeds went at Birmingham from the off, cowing them like a naughty puppy inside the first quarter of the game; it would be fair to say Birmingham didn’t really have much more than a sniff. Leeds bossed possession (65.6%), were more accurate in the pass as they built attacks (76% to 59%), took on their opponents with ease (five successful dribbles) and put Birmingham under pressure with six shots.

This is the sort of mindset that Leeds have to go out with and bring a little of that away form back home.
