Hull City stadium changes name

Hull City’s stadium, formerly known as the KC Stadium, will now on be known as the KCOM Stadium.

The change has occurred following current sponsors Kingston Communications (KC) having a re-brand into KCOM.

The stadium was built in 2002 and has a capacity of around 25,000. It has seen Premiership football for a total of four seasons since it has been built.

There is no doubt Hull have endured their most successful years since their move. The Tiger’s former home was Boothferry Park.

The giant KC logo at the front of the Stadium will be replaced in the next couple of weeks.

It is still unclear if the KCOM Stadium will be the home of Premiership or Championship football next season with Hull’s fate still up in the air, with the Tigers currently sitting in the play-off places.
