Ipswich Town youngster set to sign for Liverpool

Andre Dozzell is set to sign for the Premier League side, according to reports.

Dozzell has still never made a senior appearance in football, but is still attracting interest from giant clubs, such as Liverpool FC.

Dozzell is only 16, turning 17 next month and is eligible to leave Ipswich Town for free because of his youth contract, but Livepool would be due to pay the Tractors a compensation fee, which is currently speculated to be around £1.5m for the 16 year old’s move.

Although the midfielder has not been able to break into the first team at Ipswich, he does play for the England U17s, where he has scored two goals in nine appearances. This performance along with his father’s career involving time at Ipswich Town and Tottenham, has lead to a range of Premiere League clubs looking into the youth, but as it stands Liverpool look to have won.
