Fleetwood Vs Peterborough – Match Preview

Peterborough United make the long journey to the Fylde Coast to face Fleetwood Town on Tuesday evening.

Fleetwood currently sit just a point and a place outside the drop zone, and need a win to open up a gap between themselves and Oldham.

The Posh are on a good run of form, and have won their last three games, scoring eight in the process.

This recent run has all but guaranteed their safety this season, after six defeats in a row had fans looking over their shoulder.

Fleetwood are without a win in six, but have drawn their last two games.

Peterborough United manager Graham Westley confirmed this week that his loan players will feature at Highbury Stadium, after both Martin Samuelsen and Harry Toffolo didn’t feature against Crewe at the weekend.

Fleetwood boss Steven Pressley has urged the home supporters to get behind his side, as they battle against relegation.

“We need the home crowd to be the 12th man, and then the results will begin to come.”

Neither side have any new injury concerns, and are both expected to field similar line ups to those that started the weekend games.

The previous meeting this season in November finished 2-1 to Peterborough United.
