York City were again unable to secure a victory in League 2 as some sloppy defending resulted in The Minstermen having to settle for a 2-2 draw with mid table Crawley Town at Bootham Crescent.
Matt Harrold capitalised on a Scott Bennett error early on to give the visitors a lead before Luke Summerfield levelled from the penalty spot. The second half followed the same pattern with Liam McAlinden scoring a second for Crawley Town from close range after York City failed to clear their lines before Michael Coulson saved a point for The Minstermen with a sweet strike from the edge of the box.
The result now means that York City have failed to win any of their last eight league matches and after the match York City supporters took to Twitter to give their views on the current predicament at Bootham Crescent.

Looking forward to McNamara's assessment of the game and no doubt his delight at the 'character' his team showed… #ycfc
