League One leaders Burton Albion will be hoping to take all three points from Play-off contenders Sheffield United.
While Burton will want to remain at the top of the table and increase their lead over second placed Wigan, the Blades will want to win to move them closer to the Play-off places, and their chances of promotion into the Championship.
Burton winger Duffy, on-loan from Birmingham City, will hopefully be fit for tonight’s fixture. This is after twisting his ankle on Fridays training session, causing him to not play on Saturday, only the second game he missed all season. Brewers striker Beavon will also be fit for the game, after taking a few knocks and being substituted off at Saturdays top of the table clash.
The Blades have have inconsistent form recently, winning just three in ten games, but are still only four points adrift of the play-off places, meaning they are still strong contenders. Their home record has been shaky, winning just half of them. The Previous meeting between the two sides ended in a 0-0 draw last September.
This game is also a large games for both sets of coaching staff, as its Clough’s return to Bramall Lane. Clough was sacked as manager at the end of last season and tonight’s game will be his first return to the stadium, adding extra drive for both team to win.
