Posh looking forward to FA Cup replay

Peterborough United will take on Premiership outfit West Brom in the FA Cup 4th round replay on Wednesday, hoping to book a trip to Reading in the fifth round.

“It’s the best cup competition there is,” says manager Westley. “Every team, every manager will want to progress.”

The League One side were impressive in the first tie at the Hawthorns, twice coming from behind to earn a 2-2 draw thanks to goals from Shaquille Coulthirst and Jon Taylor.

The replay will be broadcast live on BBC, and The Posh are looking forward to playing infront of the TV Cameras for the first time under Graham Westley.

The Posh boss is expecting all complacency from the West Brom players to be “out of their system” and he expects “the toughest match of the season.”

Peterborough are without two of their first choice back four, with Michael Smith and Ricardo Santos both serving suspensions following their red cards at Chesterfield on Saturday.

Jack Baldwin is expected to be fit, with Gabriel Zakuani also hoping to return to first team action.

Adil Nabi and Tom Nichols are both ineligible for the tie.
