Sheffield United 2-2 Bradford City

This Yorkshire derby had everything and was a real classic. Jamie Murphy’s early strike set the tone for the Blades and he had arguably the best game on the pitch. Bradford then saw an attempt from James Hanson rattle against the bar before Carl McHugh’s effort was subsequently cleared off the line. Harry Maguire then scored a header just before half time to extend the Blades’ lead. Gary Jones pulled a goal back after half time courtesy of a wicked deflection before then providing the assist for James Hanson’s equaliser in front of the largest away support in the country on that particular day. The Bantams then resisted late pressure to earn a valuable point at the hands of their fierce local rivals.
