Leeds United will not be signing anymore players before the transfer window closes at 11pm tonight, as confirmed by Phil Hay on Twitter.
Leeds fans had been waiting for news from the club all day, but any potential deals failed to materialise and the club are set to end the day without making a new signing.
Message I'm getting from Leeds is definitely no more signings before the deadline. Not even Lafferty. #lufc

One of the main transfer stories surrounding Leeds this month was that of Norwich City striker Kyle Lafferty, who looked set to sign for the club on more than one occasion. Talks eventually broke down as Leeds only wanted the striker on loan but Norwich were demanding a permanent deal.
Lafferty came close to leaving Norwich again today, set to sign for Swiss side Sion, but the deal collapsed. This means Lafferty will have to move in the emergency loan window if he wants to leave Norwich this season.
Despite not signing anyone today, Leeds fans can be happy that the club managed to keep hold of Lewis Cook, who looks to have a bright future in the game. The club rejected offers from Premier League side Bournemouth for the 18 year-old.
