Bradford linked to SPL star

Bradford City have been linked to Ross County striker Liam Boyce, according to the Belfast Telegraph.

The report believes that The Bantams will battle Scottish giants Celtic for the star.

Boyce’s form for County netted him the Scottish Premiership Player of the Month award for December and he has now been linked with a move away from the club.

The striker has bagged 17 goals for The Staggies this season and has attracted interest from Celtic, as well as League One side Bradford.

Boyce initially struggled to settle at County when he signed from Northern Irish side Cliftonville but his career is now blossoming.

The 24 year olds international career is also gathering pace and he is expected to feature in Michael O’Neill’s Northern Ireland squad at Euro 2016 this summer.

The signature of Boyce would be a huge statement of intent from Bradford, who are the lowest scorers in League One.

They have lacked goals ever since the departure of Nahki Wells to Huddersfield two years ago and Boyce would massively increase the clubs striking options.

Bradford currently lie 10th in League One, four points off the play-offs with two games in hand.
