Derby County 1-0 Brighton and Hove Albion- Player Ratings

Derby County 1-0 Brighton

The Rams went into today’s  game with three losses on the bounce. Derby County were aided with the return of captain Richard Keogh. The standard of football was admittedly poor from both teams and on loan striker Patrick Bamford’s 75th minute strike from 18 yards was the only difference between the two play-off rivals. The Rams started off with their familiar 4-3-3 formation before changing to an attack minded 4-2-4 with Jeff Hendrick replacing subbed off Andre Wisdom. The Rams ground out win kept the gap between East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest at three points in 4th and 5th place respectively.
