Bradford extend Burke loan

Bradford City have extended the loan deal of Reece Burke until the end of the season, reports the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The newspaper report that the Bantams have secured the services of 19 year old Burke until the end of the campaign.

The West Ham youngster has been mightily impressive in his time in West Yorkshire and has been linked to a loan move to the Championship, as well as League One title chasers Coventry City.

However, it now appears that the centre back will stay at Valley Parade for the rest of the campaign.

It is a major boost for Bradford to sign Burke, who was part of an exceptional defensive run, which saw The Bantams concede only twice in nine games.

The club have also extended the loan deals of Kyel Reid from Preston and Lee Evans from Wolves until the end of the season.

The Bantams will hope to push for a play off spot this season, although they have lost their last two league games, to Sheffield United and Gillingham.
