Birmingham have rejected several bids for Jacques Maghoma, according to the Birmingham Mail.

The reports are claiming that an unnamed Middle Eastern side have lodged bids to sign the winger but Birmingham have turned them down, as they are hoping to keep hold of the 28-year old this month.

With the club having already lost promising talent Demerai Gray to Leicester, they are unwilling to let Maghoma leave too. However, if a big enough bid came in, then they may have no choice but to let him go.

The DR Congo man has featured 28 times for the Blues so far this season, bagging five goals and slowly becoming one of the club’s main stars since his move from Sheffield Wednesday on a free last summer.

It’s no wonder he is starting to attract interest from other clubs but after rejecting these bids, the Blues will be hoping that they will be able to keep their man.
