It was always going to be a 50/50 chance that hamstring-suffering striker Chris Wood would be able to play in today’s game against the MK Dons at Elland Road. That chance has now been settled that Wood is one of two changes to the Leeds United starting line-up.

The changes made from the starting line-up that performed admirably against Derby County in the 2-2 draw on Tuesday are that Chris Wood (injured) and Tom Adeyemi (benched) are out of the starting line-up and are replaced by Lewis Cook and Souleymane Doukara with Lee Erwin stepping up to the bench.

Certain sections of Whites fans had been calling for Doukara to start after his pivotal display in turning around the Leeds display against Wolverhampton and the rested Cook’s energy was missed against Derby, so it is interesting to see what Twitter has made of the release of the Leeds United team news.

With Leeds fans in good voice and Leeds pressing at the start of the game, there’s only 80 minutes to go before the legions of Whites fans will find out if it’s to be another three points and an extension of the six-game unbeaten run.
