Fulham moved back up to 18th in the Championship table going into the new year, following a very convincing 4-1 victory over Rotherham United. Academy graduate Cauley Woodrow opened the scoring for Fulham just after six minutes, only for their lead to be cancelled out by a Farrend Rawson finish following a goalmouth scramble. The sides looked to be heading into the dressing rooms with the spoils shared, but Woodrow doubled his and Fulham’s tally to make it 2-1. The Cottagers’ party continued to develop when Alex Kacaniklic doubled Fulham’s lead, before Ross McCormack netted in the final embers of the match. Rotherham now sit 21st in the table, only above Bristol City on goal difference.
