Hull targeting highly-rated League Two midfielder

Hull City have sent scouts to watch Oxford United midfielder Kemar Roofe, according to the Hull Daily Mail.

Roofe, 22, has been attracting attention from many championship clubs and even Premeirship clubs. It now appears that Championship side Hull City have joined the race to sign the midfielder.

Roofe joined League Two side Oxford United from Premier league side West Brom. He has scored 8 goals in 20 appearances for Oxford this season.

It is this form that has attracted Hull boss Steve Bruce to him. Hull have been known recently to sign talent from lower league.

Sam Clucas was signed from Chesterfield in the summer for £1.3 million and has impressed many this season, some even tipping him to play in the Premiership on day.

Players like Greg Luer and Calaum Jahraldo Martin were also signed from lower ranked sides and have been given a chance in the Tiger’s first team. Therefore, it is no surprise Hull have been linked with Kemar Roofe, who will most likely be on many team’s shopping list in January.
