Bolton and Rotherham to battle for Everton striker

Bolton Wanderers and Rotherham United are both ready to swoop for Everton striker David Henen, according to a report by The Sun.

Henen, 19, signed for Everton permanently in July following a loan move to the club last season, during which he played for the Under-21 side.  The Belgian has impressed for the side again so far this season, and Everton boss Roberto Martinez is willing to loan him out to get more experience.

This is understood to have alerted Bolton Wanderers and Rotherham United, who are both clubs struggling so far this season.

Rotherham have already changed managers and Bolton are without a win in ten games, with the clubs occupying the bottom two places of the Championship table.

Henen can play up front or on the wing and so could provide some much needed fire power to either club. However with the player’s lack of first-team football in England so far, any clubs that come in for him would be taking a chance.
