Burton Albion boss targeted by two Championship clubs

Burton Albion boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is being targeted by Championship clubs Fulham and Queens Park Rangers as they search for new managers, according to a report.

Queens Park Rangers are looking for a new boss after they sacked Chris Ramsey last week, with former manager Neil Warnock taking the reigns until they find their man.  Fulham sacked Kit Symons yesterday after a mixed start to the season and are also searching for a new boss.

Hasselbaink took over at Burton Albion almost a year ago and has turned the club around.  He won promotion from League Two in his first season in charge and the club now sit joint top of League One.

The former striker has been linked with numerous jobs already this season due to his growing reputation as a manager with QPR and Fulham being the latest.

Ben Robinson, Burton Albion chairman, told SunSport how he knows that Hasselbaink will leave the club someday but hopes he chooses the right club to join.
