Graham Alexander, who was recently sacked as manager of League One side Fleetwood Town, has been spending some time in Spain watching Real Sociedad, according to a report.

It is believed that Alexander’s former boss David Moyes, who manages Real Sociedad, invited him to Spain to watch the side play shortly after he was sacked by Fleetwood.

Alexander was sacked in September with the club 20th in the League One table and with only two wins from their opening 10 games.  However the side have not fared better since his dismissal, sitting in 21st place after 16 games.

David Moyes had Alexander as his captain when the pair were at Preston North End together, where the former midfielder played over 400 games.

Alexander also played for Scunthorpe United, Luton Town and Burnley in a playing career that lasted for over 20 years.
