Talented Man City youngster joins Boro on loan

Middlesbrough have confirmed on their official website that Bruno Zuculini has signed on loan from Manchester City. The 22-year-old previously had a loan spell with La Liga giants Valencia.

Zuculini, who is an Argentina Under-20 international, plays as a central midfield player. He has yet to make his league debut with the two-time Premier League Champions, however Manuel Pellegrini clearly is keen for him to go out and aid his development in a competitive Championship. He did feature in the 2014 Community Shield defeat to Arsenal at Wembley in 2014.

The playmaker was at Middlesbrough’s Rockliffe training ground this morning finalising the move and will later today take part in his first training session with his new teammates. His loan deal will expire on 28 November 2015.

With Adam Forshaw out with injury, and regulars Adam Clayton and Grant Leadbitter only one booking each away from picking up a one-match ban, Aitor Karanka has looked to provide cover in this area of the pitch.

Zuculini began his career with Argentinian club Racing Club, who can class current Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone as a former coach, and made his first-team debut at the age of 16.

He is expected to make his Riverside Stadium debut this Saturday against Charlton Athletic.
