Bolton fear losing defender

Bolton Wanderers are fearful of losing defender Prince-Desir Gouano when his loan with the club ends, according to a report by The Sun.

Gouano is currently on loan at Bolton from Italian side Atlanta, who signed the defender permanently from Serie A champions Juventus in June 2014.

Prince-Desir Gouano began his career in France with Le Havre.  After making only one senior appearance, in a league game against Metz, he joined Juventus in the summer of 2011.  The centre-back didn’t play for the Juventus first team but starred in their youth team and was loaned out several times.

Gouano then joined Atlanta, who loaned him out to Rio Ave last season and Bolton Wanderers this term, with an option to buy.

Bolton have made a poor start to the season and sit in 22nd place with only eight points from ten games. Despite this form, Gouano has impressed in his six appearances and so the club are wary of interest from other sides.
