Preston suffer fifth loss of the season – Twitter reacts

Yesterday, Preston suffered yet another loss at the hands of Sheffield Wednesday.

The Lilywhites travelled to Hillsborough hoping to at least come away with something but in the end, they came away with absolutely nothing. After holding on for 45 minutes, some dire defending gifted Wednesday their first goal through Kieran Lee, who slotted home just before the break.

Daniel Pudil doubled the home sides lead on 55 minutes and although Alan Browne pulled one back for Preston with 15 minutes left in the game, they couldn’t find an equaliser and Lewis McGugan even managed to increase the Owls lead in the dying minutes of the game.

It leaves PNE second from bottom and having gone eight games without a win. Here is how Twitter reacted to that 3-1 loss:

Mainly there was a lot of talk about the manager, Simon Grayson. Fans are currently torn on whether to back or sack the man who took them up from League 1. Some fans called for his head –
