Wigan winger told he can leave club

According to a report by The Sun, Wigan Athletic winger Sanmi Odelusi has been told he can leave, weeks after signing for the club.

The winger signed for Wigan this summer for an undisclosed fee from Bolton Wanderers.  He signed a three-year deal that was set to keep him at the club until 2018.  However now it seems that Odelusi could now already be moving on.

Odelusi has made only 2 appearances this season for Wigan, coming on as a substitute in the league and starting for the club in their defeat against Bury in the Capital One Cup.

During his time at Bolton, Odelusi made 9 appearances, 6 of them substitute appearances in the league.  However Odelusi also started 3 League Cup games and played for Bolton in the FA Cup.

This was followed by two loan spells for the winger.  The first was to MK Dons in 2014, where he made 5 appearances.  Odelusi then joined Coventry City on loan in 2015 where he scored 3 goals in 14 appearances for the club.
