Kelly is loving life at Leeds United

Leeds United assistant head coach Rob Kelly has admitted that he is loving his time at Leeds United and appreciates the chance to work at the club, Inside Futbol reports.

Kelly was offered the job at Elland Road by head coach Uwe Rosler, who was looking for new coaching staff to support him throughout the season.

The 50-year-old is well experienced within the game, having worked at Blackburn Rovers, Leicester City, Preston North End, Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest and West Bromwich Albion.

Despite having a role at a number of big clubs in the game, Kelly admits that he is loving life at Leeds United. When asked if he is enjoying his time at Leeds in an interview with LUTV, Inside Futbol quotes Kelly as saying “Yes. It’s Leeds United.

“The opportunities to come and work here don’t come along very often, if ever”, Stated Kelly, “so I’m enjoying every second of every day.”

The duo of Kelly and Rosler have helped Leeds to an unbeaten start in this season’s league campaign, drawing five and winning one. Next up for Leeds United is Ipswich Town at Elland Road, with Rosler stating on Monday that “we can’t be careless to give the momentum away.”
