AWAY ATTENDANCE: Championship – Week 3

A night lacking in action. 9 goals between 7 games, 7 games producing 5 draws. Few people will have been enthralled.

NOTE: The boxes shaded in yellow’s attendances are unknown to us, and the figures are not available even from the official sources at the moment.

GREEN boxes are this weeks attendance – as an extra, we’re going to keep note of the midweek attendance and see who, by the end of the season, are the most loyal mid-week fans.

We will be covering Championship, League One and League Two attendances, with special additions every week throughout the season. Please RT this on twitter!

HIGHEST in the League: 2237 Middlesbrough at Derby!
Both teams have excellent away support, but Middlesbrough really rubs it in away at Derby. Over two away games, Boro have taken 5974 fans on the road. It will be interesting next week when everyone’s had 2 awaydays to check out the averages.

LOWEST in the League: 377 Cardiff at Blackburn
Despite a 220 mile journey on a Tuesday night, Cardiff still took 377 people up t’ North. Fair play. However, travelers in that number fits nicely into the League Two scheme of things. Saying that, in League One this week, Cardiff’s stats would have put them 2nd against the whole fixture list. Good on Cardiff.

TOTAL SO FAR
On the numbers we can verify, there have been 45114 away days travels in the 3 weeks since the start of the season – that’s even with 4 games unconfirmed and missing. Amazing.
