Bristol City have today announced the official appointment of Steve Cotterill as manager on a three-and-a-half year deal.
In an ironic appointment, Cotterill replaces Sean O’Driscoll who was sacked last week. Last season, O’Driscoll replaced Cotterill as Nottingham Forest Manager. The 49 year old has been out of management work since leaving Forest in August 2012, however did briefly work with Harry Redknapp at QPR last season in the Premier League
Cotterill has previously had spells at Portsmouth, Burnley and Sunderland.
The Robins were relegated from the Championship last year, and have only won twice this year, finding themselves second bottom of League One.
