Betting: Tonights Capital One Cup Tips

The football is finally back! After an action packed weekend full of goals and excitement, The72 Football League clubs go again tonight in the Capital One Cup. Here are our midweek tips, that should be worth the punt.

Hull to BEAT Accrington

The recently relegated Hull travel to League 2 Accrington tonight, after beating Huddersfield Town 2-0 at the weekend. Accrington drew 1-1 on the opening day with Luton Town, but you’d expect that even Hull’s second team are capable of beating them, should they choose to go for a weaker side. With the likes of Sam Clucas and Chuba Akpom, who both netted on Saturday, you would expect Hull to be winning this one by two or three goals. At 8/15, this seems like on of the best options on tonights accumulator.

Birmingham to BEAT Bristol Rovers

Another Championship side against a League 2 one. Birmingham travel to the newly promoted Bristol Rovers this evening, and after beating Reading 2-1 one on Saturday they will be filled with confidence. Bristol Rovers on the other lost their opening day fixture to Northampton Town 1-0, and even though they will be looking for a good reaction to their opening day defeat, you’d expect Gary Rowett’s team to have the edge over Bristol Rovers. Blues manager Gary Rowett has already said that he has learned lessons from the FA Cup game against Blyth Spartans in January, his side were 2-0 down but did go on to win the game, and you’d expect that he will field a strong line up this evening, following those comments. Birmingham are 5/4 to win this one.

Fulham to BEAT Wycombe Wanderers

Another Championship side that are away to a League 2 side. Fulham drew 1-1 at the weekend away to Cardiff City whereas Wycombe won 3-0 at home to York City. However you’d expect a no nonsense attitude from Kit Symons as he takes his team to Adams Park this evening. If Fulham go with Ross McCormack and Matt Smith up front, we could see Fulham winning this game by two or three goals, and even if they go with some of their younger players such as Cauley Woodrow and Moussa Dembélé, you’d still expect them to come away with a result. Fulham are 21/20 to win.

QPR to BEAT Yeovil Town

The final game on our win accumulator is another Championship team against another League 2 one. QPR travel to Huish park this evening, having lost their opening fixture 2-0 away at London Rivals Charlton. Despite losing, QPR still have an extremely talented squad, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas is expected to make his full debut having come off the bench on Saturday, with his fire power you should see QPR ease past Yeovil. QPR are 4/5 to win.

With combined odds of around 13/1, a £10 bet on these predictions could return £127.30 with us.
