Odubajo makes Hull City switch

Hull City have announced the signing of Brentford wide-man Moses Odubajo, who signs for the club on a three-year deal. He joins the Tigers for a fee of £3.5 million.

The 22-year-old has been the subject of interest from the Tigers in recent weeks, and reports suggested on Wednesday that the club had submitted a bid.

Odubajo was a player who was key for Brentford last season, making 49 appearances, scoring 3 and helping out with 5 assists. Brentford recently lost winger Stuart Dallas to Leeds after he joined for a fee of £1.3 million. Midfielder Jonathan Douglas has also left the club to join Ipswich. It is understood that Hull are still looking to sign forward Andre Gray, but will have to pay more than the £5.5 million bid that they submitted.

Speaking about his move with Hull City’s official club website, Odubajo said “I’m pleased that everything is done now.

“Unfortunately it didn’t happen in time for me to play on Saturday, but I’m looking forward to playing for this club and I’m ready whenever the manager wants to select me.”
