Championship: looking to 2015/16 – part 2 stats

Bolton Wanderers

Last season 18th place finish (51 pts – 1.11 points p/game)

Projected finish 2015/16 – 18th

Bolton had a bumbling and average 2014/15 Championship campaign with almost all statistical returns pretty much evenly matched. Not overly dominated in the shot count (.446 TSR), likewise in terms of shots on-target (.444 SoTR) and an average 100 PDO rating (27.65% conversion shooting% and 72.35% save%) was really a summary of their season. Bolton have made some signings this summer in Gary Madine (Sheffield Wednesday – free), Derik Osede (Real Madrid Castilla – free) and Jordan Lussey (Liverpool – free) as well as bringing in Ben Amos from Manchester United to replace Liverpool-bound Adám Bogdán but the bookmakers seem convinced that it is a season of non-improvement for Bolton, hence why they are projected to finish in the same position they achieved last term.
