Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed the loan signing of striker Adam Le Fondre from Cardiff City.
The 28 year-old earlier passed a medical to seal a loan switch to Molineux with an opportunity to make the switch permanent also available should be impress.
The forward spent last season on loan at Bolton Wanderers, notching 8 goals in a 17 game spell.
Head of Recruitment Kevin Thirlwell said: “We are really pleased to bring Adam to the club.
“He has a proven goalscoring pedigree with a terrific strike rate in both the Championship and the Premier League. We have been chasing him for a long time and are delighted that he is now a Wolves player.”
Le Fondre will join up with the rest of the squad in preparation for Saturday’s opener against Blackburn Rovers.
