Rosler wants Elland Road to be a “fortress”.

Leeds United manager Uwe Rosler believes that turning Elland Road into a fortress will be the key to the club achieving its goals this season, as reported by Vital Leeds.

“I think our supporters will come after today after what they have seen,” Rosler told his press conference following the win over Everton.

“I hope we can create an atmosphere and start to build Elland Road as a fortress once again.”

The statement came after The Whites had beaten Premier League Everton 2-0 at Elland Road.

Rosler was most likely referring to the impressive 17,000 attendance for the match, a factor he clearly believes will help his side this season.

Goals from Alex Mowatt on the hour and Chris Wood ten minutes from time sealed the victory against a side containing the likes of Ross Barkeley, James McCarthy and Steven Naismith.
