It has today been revealed that Blackburn’s star striker, Rudy Gestede is set to have a medical at Premier Aston Villa, reports Sky Sports.
Gestede netted 22 goals last season for Rovers, making him their top scorer, and has scored 35 goals in 75 appearances for Rovers.
Villa will be in the market for a striker to replace Christian Benteke after the Belgians £32 million move to Liverpool this summer.
It now appears the two clubs have agreed a fee, and the player and his potential new club have agreed terms, although nothing is confirmed.
