WATCH: German side’s 40-yard screamer beats Bolton

Bolton Wanderers suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of German outfit Paderborn SC, losing 4-1 to the 2. Bundesliga side.

A strong second-half performance saw Paderborn score three unanswered goals. Gary Madine had brought The Trotters level before the half-time break, but goals from Mahir Saglik, Marcel Ndjeng and Idir Ouali inflicted an early pre-season defeat for the Lancashire team.

However, the third goal was something special. The ball fell to Ndjeng around 40 yards out, and the midfielder hit it over the helpless Bolton keeper.
