Arsenal youngster Daniel Crowley, who signed last summer from Aston Villa, looks set to complete a loan deal to Birmingham City.
The technically gifted attacking midfielder captured the eyes of Arsenal’s scouting team and after impressing for the under-18’s, was promoted to the Arsenal under 21’s.
The midfielder has been described as similar in style to Jack Wilshere – able to pick a pass and carry the ball well, but has also found a goalscoring streak for the youth sides.
Crowley is just 17, not turning 18 until August, but hopes are high for the Coventry born midfielder who signed a professional deal last August.
Gary Rowett has reportedly identified the youngster as a target and Arsenal are likely to be happy to allow him to join the Championship side.
