Leeds linked with Forest winger, but not Antonio

Leeds United are rumoured to be interested in signing Nottingham Forest winger Jamie Paterson.

Another Forest winger, Michail Antonio, has recently been linked with Leeds however he is seen as an ambitious target.  According to reports, Forest are willing to listen to offers for Paterson due to his lack of game time at the City Ground.  This would make him a more realistic target for Leeds.

Paterson began his career at Walsall, making 94 appearences before leaving in 2013 to join Nottingham Forest in a deal believed to be around £1 million.  Paterson’s best run of form came in early 2014, scoring against Bolton and Blackburn Rovers including a hat-trick against West Ham.  However due to factors such as Antonio’s great form, he had less game time failed to hit such heights last season.

With Leeds United’s new manager Uwe Rosler looking to put his own stamp on the squad, today also being linked with Steve Sidwell, Paterson would be a signing with great potential.
