Reports today indicate that former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara is having a medical with Fulham ahead of a proposed move.

The free agent had been training with the London club since his contract at Blackpool expired at the end of last season and it appears Fulham are prepared to take a chance on him.  Fulham are forming a whole new midfield, having already signed both Tom Cairney and Ben Pringle from Championship rivals and O’Hara would provide some experience.

O’Hara enjoyed the best years of his career at Tottenham, where he came through the ranks, and Portsmouth before moving to Wolves in 2011.  The West Midlands club suffered successive relegations before O’Hara’s contract was terminated in 2014.  He then joined Championship side Blackpool before they were then too relegated.

O’Hara is a player looking for a fresh start and this could fit well with Fulham, who are themselves rebuilding after another disappointing season.  If a deal is agreed, O’Hara will fly to Portugal to join up with the pre-season training camp.
