European giants show interest in Fulham wonderkid

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly lining up a bid for Fulham teenager Patrick Roberts.

Roberts has been watched by scouts from all over Europe at Craven Cottage this season and it is believed Manchester City and PSG have the best chances of securing his signature.

Fulham do not want to lose Roberts however and have offered him a wage increase from his current £5,000 a week deal and placed a £10 million price tag on the player.  However Manchester City would be unwilling to pay more than half of this price.

As Roberts has only a year left on his current contract with Fulham, he could leave the club next season for as little as £300,000.  If he left to sign for PSG, they would only have to pay this nominal fee for the England youth international due to PSG being an overseas club.  Therefore, it may be in Fulham’s best interests to cash in on Roberts this summer.
