According to the Derby Telegraph, the Rams are keen on a loan deal for Tottenham’s pacey full-back DeAndre Yedlin with the youngster making just one appearance for Spurs since January.

Yedlin signed for the North London outfit in the summer of 2014 but didn’t officially join up with the squad until January due to work permit issues, and went on to make a solitary Premier League appearance against Aston Villa in April.

The 21 year-old had been playing in the MLS for the Seattle Sounders, one of American’s biggest clubs, since 2012 and was highly coveted during his time there.

Twice selected for the MLS All-Star teams to play against both Roma and Bayern Munich, Yedlin was also awarded the U.S. Soccer Young Athlete of the Year award for his performances in 2014.

At international level, the defender was capped at youth level before making his senior team debut in 2014 and has since gone on to make 17 appearances for his country.

With the arrival of Kieran Trippier from Burnley, it is likely Spurs will be keen on loaning out the youngster in order to provide him with regular first team action.
