Ipswich and Brentford to fight for Blues star

Play Off Semi-finalists Ipswich Town and Brentford are both thought to be keen on signing contract rebel Koby Arthur.

Arthur is yet to sign a new deal and looks increasingly set to leave St. Andrews, having fallen out of favour after the first few weeks of Rowett’s reign.

However Rowett decided to replace Arthur with Demarai Gray and Gray has shone since, leaving Arthur to impress in the reserves.

The diminutive winger has done well on loan at Cheltenham Town, scoring 3 goals in 7, but has yet to open his Blues account in the Championship.

Ipswich are looking at potential replacements for Paul Anderson, who has been linked with moving to St. Andrews, who has been told that he may not be a part of Mick McCarthy’s plans.
