Wolves preparing fresh bid for Cardiff forward

Wolves are set to launch a new bid for Cardiff striker Joe Mason, according to GetReading.

As previously reported by The 72, Wolves have already had a bid for the forward rejected but it hasn’t put them off, with boss Kenny Jackett plotting to make yet another bid.

The Molineux Stadium side are desperate to add Mason to their squad as they look for potential replacements for Bakary Sako, who looks likely to leave.

Their last bid, as previously mentioned, was rejected and that it was worth was around £1.5m. They may have to double that offer for Cardiff to consider letting 24-year old Mason exit the club.

Mason made 21 appearances in the 2014/15 season (some of those appearances coming during his time on loan at Bolton early on in the campaign) and he managed to score five goals.
