Today Preston North End have revealed what their new home kit will look like for their first season back in the Championship.
The Twitter account of the football club promised sneak peaks of the kit from 1pm, ending with the full reveal. They kept fans in suspense with tweets of the shorts, followed by a tweet of the socks and then even a small snippet of the shirt itself.
But come 4pm, the full kit had been revealed. Here it is…

The only real significant change from last year’s effort is the collar – this year, the shirt has a v-neck collar. Everything else has remained pretty similar.
It isn’t necessarily a bad thing: it is a decent kit and it hasn’t been horribly designed or altered with different colours or patterns. Over on Twitter, it’s been kind of a mixed bag. Some dislike it because of its resemblance to last year’s kit…
Did PNE accidentally upload a picture of last years kit or is it pretty much the same thing again… #pnefc

While some are happy with it or aren’t too bothered by it…

So with the kit there are no drastic changes but that’s not really anything to complain about. In my personal opinion, I believe the kit is fine. It might not have changed too much but that may not be a bad thing. As previously mentioned, at least they haven’t unveiled a kit with a totally different colour or horrendous design!
The kit goes on sale tomorrow and the away kit has yet to be revealed.
