Charlton chasing Belgian striker

Charlton are tracking Belgian forward Nill De Pauw, according to the Birmingham Mail.

The 25-year old currently plays in the Belgian Pro League for Sporting Lokeren and he is quickly gaining interest from the Addicks.

De Pauw would be available for quite cheap and could provide decent cover or even rival current wingers and forwards Berg Gudmundsson, Vetokele and Watt for a first-team place at the Valley next season.

He has been at his current club since 2008 and has made close to 200 appearances for the Belgian side. He has also appeared for the Belgium national team at Under-21 and Under-20 level.

De Pauw is versatile as well – he can play up-front or on either wing.

Charlton are yet to make a formal bid but they are continuing to keep tabs on him and could make an offer in the near future.
