Norwich showing interest in Plymouth’s young talent

Since winning promotion to the Premier League, Norwich are looking to add depth to their squad and have sought out Plymouth’s Ben Purrington as a potential target.

The Canaries have reportedly made an enquiry into the availability of the left-back after Purrington’s impressive two seasons with the Pilgrims.

After making his debut as a 17 year-old back in 2013, Purrington has gone on to make over 20 appearances and played nine games last season despite being injury riddled.

Having been with Plymouth since 2005 when he was signed as a nine year-old the 19 year-old has received rave reviews for his potential in the game and was nominated for the League 2 Apprentice of the Year award for last term.
